Ketam Masak Lemak Cili Padi

Kali pertama saya beli barang di NSK saya pergi seorang diri sebab memang lauk dah habis langsung. Encik Suami pulak balik lewat. Disebabkan saya excited nak jugak pergi NSK, saya redah jugak sorang-sorang.

Esoknya, saya bercerita dengan Encik Suami. Saya cerita la saya beli ayam, ikan dan udang. Saya cakap kat NSK ada jugak jual ketam, kerang, daging dan macam-macam lagi la. Encik Suami terus melompat cakap nak makan ketam masak lemak cili padi. Dan-dan tu kitorang pergi NSK cari ketam.

Beli ketam 3 ekor cuma RM5 jer. Balik rumah bekerja keras la saya masak ketam tu. Tu pun nasib baik Encik Suami tolong. Kalau tak tah pukul berapa dapat makannya.

Resepi ketam masak lemak cili padi saya ambil dari sini. Suami kata gulai lemak cili padi paling sedap yang pernah saya masak.

KETAM MASAK LEMAK CILI PADI

Ingredients :

4 medium crabs, cleaned and halved
5 shallots ~ minced
3 cloves garlic ~ minced
1 inch fresh turmeric
1 inch ginger
5 bird eye chillies (more if you prefer it hot) ~ minced
enough coconut milk
1 piece dried tamarind
lemon grass ~ bruised
Tomatoes ~ quartered (saya tak letak)
salt to taste
cooking oil

Method :

1. Heat cooking oil in a pot. Add in the minced ingredients till fragrant. Add in lemon grass.
2. Stir for a while then pour in the coconut milk.Keep stirring.
3. When the gravy starts boiling, add in crabs. Leave for a few minutes before adding the dried tamarind and tomatoes. If you have sliced pineapple, add in as well.
4. Add salt to taste and leave to cook.
5. Remove from heat.
